Deliverable The student team will use machine learning. satellite imagery and historical weather reports to study the distribution of livestock farms in California and evaluate the impact of extreme weather events (e.g. wildfires. drought. floods. etc.) in the livestock industry. This information can be used to identify areas at high risk of having extreme weather events in California. quantify the impact of wildfires in livestock production and to support better plan and support evacuation and emergency response teams.
