Rebate Search Website
The program addresses two issues with free government/state/private entity monies: 1) They are not visible, so people don’t even know that they exist. Websites that do exist are specific to certain rebate types (ie. energy), thus they are only in the scopes of those who are aware of these programs; the premium feature of this app is to push awareness of these programs and increase accessibility. Sometimes it takes minimal effort beyond just awareness to benefit from these programs (such as with CA-specific rebate programs through Tesla for 500$, or city rebates for water usage such as in Sacramento which range from 100$ - 3,000$), and sometimes it requires a lot of technical work on the recipients end in which case, 2) this program should eventually help recipients take advantage of these programs through professional assistance, or even an accumulation/reference bar full of tools and resources available on the website that helps these recipients do that work on their own.
This tool would exist as a database for possible local, state, and federal rebate programs and provide a search function based upon criteria the user produces through a user profile.
A simple website/minimum viable product that allows for manual upload of rebate programs to a catalog, and can then be indexed according to some categories/criteria, and which features a UI that supports a search function through the catalog based off of filters.
