Project's details

Developing a web-based interface to make requests. have automated reports. and verification of information
At the University of California Davis we have one of the most diverse collection of human brains from Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders through our Alzheimer’s Disease Center (https://www.ucdmc.ucdavis.edu/alzheimers/ ). We share these resources with universities and institutes from all over the world.
We need to optimize our inquiring systems for to better accommodate these types of requests. When a potential collaborator submits a request. they should have a confirmation of their request as well as when to expect a reply. Furthermore. to monitor certain aspects of requests would like to have automatic reports (such as the number of requests per month. or graphing the number of requests over the course of a year). Other items may include verification of select input variables (to denote if the information the requester has submitted is valid).
The student team will develop a webpage linked to an email account. a verification component. and a component generating automatic reports that can aid in this endeavor.
