Project's details
| Developing a web-based interface to make requests. have automated reports. and verification of information | |
| At the University of California Davis we have one of the most diverse collection of human brains from Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders through our Alzheimer’s Disease Center (https://www.ucdmc.ucdavis.edu/alzheimers/ ). We share these resources with universities and institutes from all over the world. | |
| We need to optimize our inquiring systems for to better accommodate these types of requests. When a potential collaborator submits a request. they should have a confirmation of their request as well as when to expect a reply. Furthermore. to monitor certain aspects of requests would like to have automatic reports (such as the number of requests per month. or graphing the number of requests over the course of a year). Other items may include verification of select input variables (to denote if the information the requester has submitted is valid). | |
| The student team will develop a webpage linked to an email account. a verification component. and a component generating automatic reports that can aid in this endeavor.
